Quick Baked Apples with Cinnamon

A quick dessert for the whole family with minimal ingredients - seasonal apples, cinnamon, butter, walnuts and coconut sugar.


  • 6 medium apples, capped and cored

  • 2-3 tablespoons organic butter at room temperature

  • 1 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 2-3 teaspoons of coconut sugar

  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts

  • drizzle of honey to serve

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius. Place the cored apples snuggly in a shallow baking dish and set aside.

In a small bowl, combine the butter, cinnamon, nuts, and sugar.

Mash the mixture together until well combined

Fill each hallowed apple core with 1 tablespoon of the seasoned butter, packing it down. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes until the apples are soft and easily pierced with a knife.

Delicious with organic yoghurt or cream and a drizzle of honey.
